Dubai Airports Are Ready To Restart Its Passenger Services

April 24, 2020

With COVID-19 restrictions gradually lifted, Dubai and UAE are steadily coming back to renewed operations. Maintaining social rules, wearing face masks and gloves, people are going out and movement permissions are not required anymore. The government has created meticulous plan for returning to better state than it was before. Dubai airports which were closed are now re-opening in phases and awaiting to restart travel soon.

It has been announced by government of Dubai that it is offering a business stabilization framework as a relief measure for aviation and commercial partners while travel suspension remains in place until further notice. Travel operations in Dubai’s two main airports have been suspended since March 24 until further notice, with the exception of repatriation flights and expecting to restart its operations soon.

While passenger flow significantly reduced, cargo operations, which are excluded from the ban, have been given permission to operate an average of 110 weekly flights weekly in response to “heightened demand” for pharmaceuticals, food, and other essential goods.
